Gustav Klimt

Beautiful Walls pays homage to the great central European painter, Gustav Klimt, star of the Vienna Secession Art Movement. This collection of wallpaper is based on the study and research of the works of the Golden Period, when Klimt discovered, during a trip to Ravenna in 1903, the art of Byzantine mosaics. The result, beautifully embossed designs and rich, warm colours, clearly inspired by Klimt. There are also traces of the Mature Period, in which the elegant lines are replaced by free brushstrokes, brighter colours and beautiful florals.
